Raising the Bar: The Nest Cocktail Bar, Malaysia

Raising the Bar welcomes Oh Chong Hau, founder of Penang’s The Nest Cocktail Bar and winner of Hennessy MyWay Malaysia, for an exclusive takeover at The St. Regis Bar. Inspired by his travels around the world, Oh Chong Hau presents modern cocktails with unexpected flavor combinations, each thoughtfully paired to create an immersive experience that unfolds beyond the glass.

The Spirit of the Archipelago

Inspired by the pride and spirit of Indonesia, The Spirit of the Archipelago celebrates Independence Day through the vibrant spices, tropical ingredients, and bold flavors that define the nation’s culinary identi . Each creation reimagines familiar tastes with a contemporary perspective. 

Discover the spirited character of Asam Pedas, the aromatic depth of Kopi Nusantara, and the tropical freshness of Kelapa Highball, paired with elevated bar snacks inspired by the same culinary spirit. Together, each sip and bite celebrates a different expression of Indonesia.

Raising the Bar: Citadel, Fukuoka

For one special night, Citadel Fukuoka brings its boundary-pushing approach to The St. Regis Bar, presenting inventive cocktails cra ed from hundreds of house-made liqueurs that have made the bar a destination for creativi and warm hospitali . 

Leading the takeover is Yoshimitsu Obara, who founded Citadel in 2017 and became known for creating more than 40 coffee cocktails and over 100 original infusions, shaped by years behind some of Fukuoka’s most respected bars.
